How long should I wait to use my deck after it is stained?
As a general rule if the temperature is in the 70’s and the weather is dry you should be able to use your deck within 24-48 hours after staining.

Do I need to sand the deck before staining?
This depends on the condition of your deck. We usually recommend a cleaning and staining every two years but if there are splinters and other signs of damaged wood we recommend that the surface is sanded.

How long will it take to refinish my deck?
This all depends on what type of service your deck needs. Usually we wait 24hrs after power washing. Once we begin refinishing it usually will only take one or two days. If sanding is needed this may extend the timeline a bit. Ask our service representative for details.
